Thank you for reporting spam and other rule-breaking content. Which app, Affinity photo or Pixelmator. Hi guys! First time seeing this sub and I read only a second or two ago that someone was able to find help here about a similar question. Pixelmator in the other hand looks the most like lightroom in the way it functions but I am just scared that it might get to a point where it becomes limiting.

It doesn't have batch processing or export, still needs lens correction and noise control as well. I can edit the majority of my photos in it with no trouble. It will be the closest to Lightroom for sure. What are you looking to do that you're concerned you won't be able to do with it? I contacted the dev about utilizing Siri Shortcuts with it and they were responsive. They've seemed pretty responsive so far. I'm looking to get Affinity at some point, but I've held off for now because I have an Adobe CC subscription and supposedly Photoshop should be coming this year.

If Affinity goes on sale I'll likely pick it up. I've not used it or looked at it much, so I can't comment on it. I think Affinity is supposed to be a lot more powerful, which is the main reason I haven't looked at it. You have contacted the dev to add batch processing via siri shortcuts? What did they reply please. No, I contacted them to make the import process with Siri Shortcuts possible like it is with Lightroom.

I use Affinity Photo and Designer on my iPad and they are incredibly well-built. Pixelmator is affordable and surprisingly powerful, but I would go with Affinity on this one. Also a photographer, I have both with an iPad Pro, neither of these two can replace Lightroom. Affinity comes close, but the spot adjustment tool in Lightroom is just too good. Maybe with the next version of Pixelmator, we can finally ditch Lightroom.
